Mountain Trails Black Mountain Recreational
Park Located at Evarts, features 7200+ Acres of ATV
and Monster Truck terrain. The park has
been a huge success thanks to the efforts of the Kentucky
Mountain Crawlers and
the Harlan
County Ridge Runners. Some trails
reach altitudes over 3500 feet on
Kentucky
's Black Mountain Range.

Offers
visitors the unique experience of touring an actual
coal mine by rail car. Visitors will wear the
traditional protective gear of the coal miner as they
enjoy animated exhibits along the tour.

Camping is limited to primative camping along the back
trails. No camping is allowed in the management
area but it supports some of the finest nature trails
in all of
Eastern Kentucky.

established the Poor Fork Arts & Crafts Store in
July 1988. The purpose of the store is to provide the
Guild members a place to market their goods and
tourists a place to buy gifts made by hand. Several
thousand items are displayed in the 4,500 sq. foot
store building

Golf Course has provided golfing enthusiasts the
opportunity to play on one of the most unique and
challenging nine-hole courses in the state. Rolling
hills and deep valleys create a most unusual setting
for golfers.
